To provide a method for forming a laser carving pattern on a plastic product by laser carving and an in-mold transfer technique, and to provide a product of the method.

The method includes: a process of, firstly, preparing a thin transfer film 20 having a thin transparent film 21, forming a protective layer 22 by coating the bottom surface of the thin transparent film 21 with a transparent ultraviolet curable varnish of one layer, and then applying a printing layer 23 of one layer below the protective layer 22; a process arranging the thin transfer film 20 in a cavity of an injection molding mold, injecting plastic into the cavity of the mold to form a plastic injection-molded article 10, and pasting the thin transfer film 20 on the surface of the plastic injection-molded article 10; a process of irradiating the surface of the plastic injection-molded article 10 with the protective layer 22 pasted with ultraviolet rays to cure the protective layer 22; and a process of forming the laser curving pattern on the surface of the plastic injection-molded article 10 by laser beams 31 generated by a laser carving machine.
