Abstract:

To provide a method capable of easily forming a highly reliable liquid repellent-lyophilic pattern layer without requiring a special pattern mask or the like.

The method for forming a liquid repellent-lyophilic pattern applies and cures a curable composition containing a siloxane-based compound to form an insulating layer having a liquid repellent surface and subjects the insulating layer to a lyophilic treatment in a site-specific manner to form a liquid repellent-lyophilic pattern. The method according to the present invention can be used for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent device, a thin-film transistor, a color filter, and the like.
