To provide a method of forming a panel composite, by which fixing strength is raised by preventing relative positional deviation between both panels while securing the design quality of an outer panel.
The panel composite 1 is made by superimposing the outer panel 10 and an inner panel 20 each other, and a sandwiching part 30 where the peripheral part 21 of the inner panel 20 is sandwiched between the peripheral part 11 of the outer panel 10 and its adjacent region 12 is formed by turning up the peripheral part 11 of the outer panel 11 on the side of the inner panel 20, on the periphery. The panel composite 1 is formed at least through a superimposing step where the peripheral part 11 of the outer panel 10 and the peripheral part 21 of the inner panel 20 are superimposed on each other in the crossing direction, a welding step where both peripheral parts 11, 21 are joined by applying welding to both superimposed peripheral parts 11, 21 and a bending step where the sandwiching part 30 is formed by bending both joined peripheral parts 11, 21 integrally on the side of the inner panel 20.
