Abstract:
To firmly stick a silicate glass to a phosphate glass layer.
This method of forming a phosphate glass layer comprises by firing a phosphate glass power is characterized in that one or more kinds of salts selected from the group consisting of a Ca salt, a Sr salt, a Ba salt, a Zn salt, a Bi salt and a phosphate, or a solution of the salts is applied onto the surface of the silicate glass on which the phosphate glass may be formed, and holding the coated glass at a temp. of ≥150°C for ≥5 min.
