Abstract:
To reduce the effect of the variations of the ductility and the thickness of the metal plate when forming cylindrical projections by burring the metal shell or other metal plates of a small disk cartridge.
In a disk cartridge containing a recording medium disk free to rotate inside a flat housing having a metal shell, level difference steps are formed around the roots of the projections on the above metal plate to adjust the heights of the projections when forming projections on the metal shell or other metal plates by burring.
