Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of the gear-shift control on up-shifting an automatic transmission for stabilizing the blow-up learning by controlling the generation of blow-up and for improving the feeling on shifting gears and the durability by reducing the value of excessive blow-up learning to an appropriate level in the upward gear shifting process by the integrated control with an engine.
SOLUTION: When a command to shift gears upward is given while the vehicle is running, it is determined whether the blow-up quantity is at least a prescribed value or not. If the blow-up quantity is determined to be the prescribed value or more, the learning control proportionate to the blow-up quantity is executed.
