Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ductility of a friction regulating material applied to a rail head top.
SOLUTION: To improve the ductility of the friction regulating material applied to the rail head top on at least a curved inner rail side, grinding and correction into a protruded circular shape with a radius r1 exceeding 600 mm but not more than 1000 mm is given to a range of 20 mm from at least a rail axial center X of the rail head top in the cross section of a rail to both sides. This improves the ductility of the friction regulating material applied to the rail head top and suppresses wavy wear.
