Abstract:

To provide a simple method for identifying Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa from Angelica acutiloba produced in other production districts by utilizing a DNA marker and to provide a material for identifying Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa and application products thereof.

A DNA marker for identifying Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa and Angelica acutiloba var. sugiyamae Hikino, and a pair of primers for identification for selectively amplifying the DNA marker by PCR, a method for identifying Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa from Angelica acutiloba produced in other production districts by utilizing the pair of primers for identification, and a kit or the like containing the pair of primers for identification are provided.
