To provide a method for inspecting a mounting state of a component to solve trouble factors of a mounting system having a plurality of mounting devices.
In a mounting device 1b, mounting states of components in two sections in total which are a component mounting section (b) of the mounting device 1b and a component mounting section (a) of an upstream-side mounting device 1a are inspected. In a mounting device 1c, mounting states of components in three sections in total which are a component mounting section (c) of the mounting device 1c and the component mounting sections (a) and (b) of the upstream-side mounting devices 1a and 1b are inspected. In a mounting device 1d, mounting states of components in four sections in total which are a component mounting section (d) of the mounting device 1d and the component mounting sections (a), (b) and (c) of the upstream-side mounting devices 1a, 1b and 1c are inspected. Consequently, it is possible to easily specify in which stage an event causing abnormal mounting occurs, and then effective measures can be taken for specified places and items, thereby easily solving problems.
