Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a secondary battery that makes it possible to easily determine using a SQUID sensor whether or not there is shorting in the secondary battery.SOLUTION: A method of an inspection device 1 for inspection a secondary battery 11 includes the steps of: measuring a magnetic field intensity B0 when the battery voltage value of the secondary battery 11 is V1 and a magnetic field intensity B1 when the battery voltage value is V2 using a SQUID sensor 15; and comparing the magnetic field intensity B0 and the magnetic field intensity B1, and thereby determining whether or not there is shorting in the secondary battery 11. In measuring the magnetic field intensity by the SQUID sensor 15, determination as to whether or not measured data in a prescribed section contains noise is made on the basis of a difference between average values of measured data in the prescribed section following and preceding that, or on the basis of the ratio of a standard deviation of measured data in the prescribed section to a standard deviation of measured data in the prescribed section following or preceding that. When it is determined that noise is contained, a correction is made that adds a difference between an average value in the preceding prescribed section and an average value in the following prescribed section to the measured value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
