Abstract:
To provide a method for completing installation of an engine inside a hull in a short time without performing any work such as re-boring of an installation part of the engine.
In the method for fixing an engine to a hull, an aluminum plate side 25a of a fixed liner 25 consisting of a clad steel of an aluminum plate and a steel plate is welded and fixed to an aluminum-made hull table 17 formed on the hull. A steel-made adjustment liner 27 is fixed to a lower side of an installation leg part 20 of the engine by anchoring bolts 28. After the engine is arranged at the predetermined position, a steel plate side 25b of the fixed liner 25 and the adjustment liner 27 are fixed to each other by the welding 29.
