A method of performing an analysis of a device to be detected by the instrumentation system includes a step of applying the pulse signal to the device to be detected; a step of receiving an instrumentation signal, corresponding to the pulse signal after the pulse signal is applied to the device to be detected; a step of filtering the instrumentation signal and selecting a plurality of differential spectral components of the instrumentation signal; a step of filtering the instrumentation signal and selecting a plurality of different spectral components of the instrumentation signal; a step of synthesizing the plurality of the different spectral components of the instrumentation signal and forming a synthetic signal; and a step of analyzing a synthetic signal and determining the characteristic of the device to be detected.
