Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of kneading molding sand with a small driving power for kneading without causing cascading in an initial period of kneading in kneading of the molding sand by a kneading device of a conical vessel rotation type.
CONSTITUTION: This method for kneading the molding sand by the kneading device of the conical vessel rotation type comprises kneading the molding sand by setting an elevation angle of inclination the conical vessel 2 at about 60° in the initial period of kneading and executing the kneading by shifting the elevation angle of inclination of the conical vessel 2 at about 45° at the point of the time the driving power of agitating vanes 8 increase.
