A first disk substrate 6 having an adhesive 8 applied in an annular state on the laminating face 6a is rotated to form a buildup 8a of a ring state on the upper face of the outer peripheral side of the adhesive 8 applied in an annular state. When the first disk substrate 6 and a second disk substrate 7 are laminated, the region where the second disk substrate 7 first comes in contact with the adhesive 8, namely the so-called first touchdown region, can be narrowed. Thereby, mixing of air into the adhesive 8 is significantly decreased when the fist disk substrate 6 and the second disk substrate 7 are laminated with the adhesive 8, and mixing of air into the adhesive 8 can be effectively prevented.
