Abstract:
To provide a loading method for stably floating an SIL(Solid Immersion Lens) mounted floating slider although there is proximity field recording using the floating slider described above as one method of high-density cutting.
The optical master disk 2 provided with a floating region 1 on its inner peripheral side as shown in Figure 1 is used. The SIL mounted floating slider 4 is first floated in the floating region 1 and thereafter the slider is moved to a desired place of a cutting region 3 where cutting is carried out. Accordingly, the SIL mounted floating slider be floated without crash in loading.
