Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inappropriate drug package from being selected by mistake in a clinical experimental study for a new drug. SOLUTION: This method for administering clinical trial materials comprises as follows: each of a plurality of bottles is assigned with two indicias differing from each other, and a vocal communication is performed between a relevant investigator and a sponsor side computer 62 over the telephone; in this case, upon being contacted by the investigator with the computer, the computer identifies either of a plurality of the bottles contained in a kit, and at the same time, requests the investigator to enter one of the indicias assigned on the bottle selected into the telephone 64's keypad, thus inquiring the suitability of the selection of the relevant bottle; and, in response to the result of the communication, the bottles are distributed.
