Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a corresponding apparatus for producing the subject compound at a reduced cost through recovering a surplus hydrogen gas having not been used in the reaction and using the gas for the hydrogenation reaction again. SOLUTION: This method for producing the subject compound comprises hydrogenating 1-chloroheptafluorocyclopentene with an excessive hydrogen gas and is characterized by comprising the following three steps: 1st step: a reaction mixture is obtained by the hydrogenation reaction, 2nd step: a surplus hydrogen gas is recovered from the reaction mixture, and 3rd step: the hydrogen gas thus recovered is fed to the hydrogenation reaction again. The apparatus for producing the subject compound is also provided.
