Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily obtaining a resin foam uniformly finely foamed at a high expansion ratio by extrusion foaming an aliphatic-aromatic copolyester resin having biodegradability without raising a melt viscosity of the resin and to provide a foamed sheet of a high expansion ratio satisfied with a short maturing period after extrusion foaming.
SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the aliphatic-aromatic copolyester resin includes the steps of press injecting a dimethyl ether as a foaming agent and a hydrocarbon in the aliphatic-aromatic copolyester resin melt in an extruder, extruding and foaming the resin.
