Abstract:
To provide a method for brazing in the atmospheric pressure and an inert gas atmosphere without applying any flux, in an aluminum heat exchanger.
In the method, a surface of at least one member of the two members joined to each other is cladded with a brazing filler metal layer of an Al-Si based alloy, wherein the brazing filler metal layer is caused to contain 0.5-2 mass% Mg, thereby enabling the surface of the member to be brazed without applying any flux.
