PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of a chamfered oblique surface and the evenness of an end face by repeating a feed corresponding to the height at the time when a winding bush is obtained and the molding of a V-groove, and cutting off a groove connecting part to form a chamfered part and an end face part.
CONSTITUTION: A band type plate material for forming a blank is fed at a certain feeding width by means of a feeding device, clamped by upper and lower V-groove forming molds 1, 15, and V-grooves are formed by means of projecting lines 2 to 4, 16 to 18. Through the repetition of the feeding and clamping, V-grooves with a certain depth can be obtained. The part of the plate material ahead of the deepest groove reaches on the lower die 23. Due to a closed mold at the time, the plate material is held between upper and lower dies 8, 23, and upper and lower cuttig edges 7, 26 cut the connecting part of the V-groove. Thereby, a chamfered part which is the inclined surface of the V-groove and an even end face part which is the cut-off surface, can be obtained with high accuracy.
