Abstract:
To provide a technology which suppresses an amount of used microparticles and enables a metal member with an increased enhancement amount to be obtained by a simple method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a metal member 20 includes: a step (a) of continuously forming a melting section 5 where a part of the surface of a base material metal 7 and the inside region melt due to heat input from a plasma 1 and a melt recoagulation part 6 where the melting section 5 coagulates due to heat absorption from surroundings by irradiation of a part of the surface of a base material metal 7 with the plasma 1 by arc discharge; and a step (b) of projecting microparticles 4 from the melting section 5 by following the plasma 1 across the melt recoagulation part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
