Abstract:
To provide a method of making a mold, in which reproducibility of shape is not lost, when a reproduced mold is manufactured by using an original mold and a second mold is manufactured.
The method includes a step for forming a prototype mold and a step for manufacturing the original mold by electrocasting by using the prototype mold. A step for forming the first resin molding by the original mold and a step for manufacturing the second mold by electrocasting by using the resin molding as a prototype mold are included. A step for forming the second resin molding by the original mold and a step for manufacturing mass-produced molds by electrocasting by using the second resin molding as a socond prototype mold are included.
