Abstract:
【課題】２枚重ねにした光学フィルムを破損することなく切断可能とし、作業効率よく光学フィルムを連結する光学フィルムの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】光学フィルムの製造方法は、第１光学フィルムおよび第２光学フィルムを重ねて刃で切断する工程を含み、第１光学フィルムおよび第２光学フィルムは、片側に表面処理層を有し、かつ表面処理層が同じ側に配置されるように重ねられており、上記工程において、刃は、その刃先と第１光学フィルムおよび第２光学フィルムの表面とのなす角を１００°以上１７０°以下として、第１光学フィルムの表面処理層に先ず接触し、その後第１光学フィルムおよび第２光学フィルムを切断し、第１光学フィルムの張力は、第２光学フィルムの張力と比較して同じまたは低く、かつ第１光学フィルムの張力は、０Ｎ／ｍ超過９０Ｎ／ｍ以下であり、第２光学フィルムの張力は、０Ｎ／ｍ超過１５０Ｎ／ｍ未満である。【選択図】図１
