Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the production yield by collapsing a right or left side part of the top end of an anode lead terminal of an anode rod in the thickness direction to deform it in the width direction of this terminal.
CONSTITUTION: When a capacitor element 3 inclines right to the center line of both lead terminals 1 and 2 at an angle exceeding specified allowable range, the right side part 1b of the top end of the terminal 1 is collapsed to deform it in the depth direction and expand in the width direction of the terminal 1 by lowering one variable punch C1 toward a fixed die B. This shifts an anode rod 5 to the left to correct so that the inclination angle can be within specified allowable range. When the capacitor 3 inclines left to the center line of the leads 1 and 2, the correction can be made as described above.
