Abstract:
To accurately dispose reinforcing cords or the like at a given position without lowering a molding efficiency of a tire by previously forming an inserter ply or the like as a predetermined shape in a separate step from a tire molding step.
A method for manufacturing the pneumatic tire having the insert ply comprises the steps of bulging and deforming a central part of a cylindrical carcass band 1 in which bead rings 2 are arranged on end parts, and arranging the insert ply 4 to becomes a previously formed spirally winding structure of the reinforcing cords 4a and an annular rubber layer on side parts isolated at a crown part of the band 1.
