Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous gold film capable of manufacturing a homogeneous porous film within a briefer-than-ever period.SOLUTION: In the provided method for manufacturing a porous gold film, an oxidation step of anodically oxidizing, by using a substrate, gold within an aqueous solution of an oxoacid excluding oxalic acid and salts thereof and a reduction step of cathodically reducing the porous gold film immediately after the completion of the oxidation step in a case where the thickness thereof is less than 200 nm or after the porous gold film has been left standing over a specified time in a case where the thickness thereof is at least 200 nm are executed, whereas the standing operation at the reducing step is carried out until at least 10% of the entire oxidized gold is reduced into gold by leaving, upon the completion of the oxidation step, the oxidation reaction product obtained as a result of anodic oxidation standing and/or the standing operation at the reducing step is carried out under conditions of 0 to 150°C for 4 days to 10 seconds upon the completion of the oxidation at the oxidation step.
