Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a roller bearing cage which may increase fatigue strength of the cage.
A method of manufacturing a roller bearing cage provided with at least one cage ring 1 and a plurality of cage webs 2 which connect to the cage ring 1 includes: a preparation step of preparing an at least partially formed roller bearing cage; and a pressurization step of applying a prescribed pressure onto a radially inside face and/or a radially outside face of the cage ring 1 to compress material of the cage ring 1 in a region near the surface.
