The method for manufacturing the rotor includes a step of inserting a rotary shaft 3 to a magnet material 1 disposed in a mold 2, and a step of disposing the magnet material 1 between the outer surface of the rotary shaft 3 and the inner surface of the mold 2. The magnet material 1 is solidified, and the rotary shaft 3 is integrated with the magnet material 1. Since the magnet material 1 can be disposed around the rotary shaft 3 by inserting the rotary shaft 3 into the magnet material 1, the disposing work of the magnet material 1 is facilitated, and the manufacture of the rotor is facilitated.
