Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a separator for a capacitor capable of reducing the fault occurrence ratio during manufacturing of the capacitor by improving surface strength of the separator in the method of manufacturing the separator for the capacitor by a wet papermaking method.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a separator for a capacitor by a wet papermaking method, nonwoven fabric in a wet state containing a fibrillated solvent-spun cellulose fiber and a synthetic short fiber as an essential component is dried by a drying device formed by combining a Yankee dryer and a hot air hood, static electricity of the nonwoven fabric during being exfoliated from the Yankee dryer is eliminated by at least one static eliminator installed at the exit of the drying device.
