To provide a method of manufacturing a sintered ore capable of preventing decreases in productivity of the sintered ore, and yield and quality of products when blending a steelmaking slag low in fluorine content and basicity and inferior in melt fluidity with a sintering raw material.
In the method of manufacturing the sintered ore that the steelmaking slag of not more than 0.5 mass% in content of fluorine components and not more than 3.7 in basicity which is the mass percentage content ratio of CaO to SiO2 is blended with the limestone-containing sintering raw material and is granulated to form false particles, and the sintered ore is manufactured using the false particles, blending is performed by setting the sum of the contents of the steelmaking slag and limestone in the sintering raw material to 30-70 mass% and limestone/steelmaking slag which is the ratio in mass percentage content to at least 1. A divided granulation method can be adopted in the method of manufacturing the sintered ore.
