To provide a method for manufacturing a throttle device, reducing the number of components by eliminating an adjustment screw and also appropriately adjusting a throttle valve to a fully closed position.
In this method for manufacturing the throttle device, an angle detector 74, a pressurizer 73, a holder 72, a fixing tool 71b, and a controller 75 are used. The method for manufacturing the throttle device includes: a step of changing the turning angle of the throttle valve by using the pressurizer until the turning angle of the throttle valve is detected based on a detection signal from the angle detector and set to a predetermined valve set angle position; a step of holding a throttle shaft positioned to the valve set angle position by the use of the holder; and a step of fixing the throttle shaft held in the valve set angle position by holder to a throttle gear by the use of the fixing tool. The pressurizer changes the turning angle of the throttle valve by directly push-pressing the throttle valve.
