To provide a method of manufacturing an underground heat exchanger which is improved in heat exchange efficiency.
A first spiral heat medium pipe 21 is arranged in a space between a first cylindrical housing 11 and a second cylindrical housing 12, and the space is closed on lower-end sides of the first cylindrical housing 11 and the second cylindrical housing 12 using an elastic seal 54 and metallic seal member pressing metal fittings 56. A hose 88 of a mortar pressure pump is fitted to a filling hole of the seal metal press metal fittings 56, and a liquid filler (mortar) 14 is charged in a spiral gap S2 enclosed with the first cylindrical housing 11 and the second cylindrical housing 12 by the mortar pressure pump from the filling hole. The filler 14 presses up air in the gap S2, so the filler 14 can be securely charged in the gap S2.
