Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the deviation of the tip part of a measuring instrument from a base circle tangent to about 1mum by moving a measuring element, a body to be measured such as a scroll which has more rigidity than the measuring element and its supporting structure. CONSTITUTION:A holder 9 which holds the boss 4 of a movable scroll is connected to and fixed on the shaft of a motor 31 for rotation. The other end of the shaft of the motor 31 is connected to the shaft of a rotary encoder 32 to read the angle of rotation of the motor shaft. The motor 31 and rotary encoder 32 are fixed on the slide table 35 of a static pressure linear guide 34 on a surface plate 33 by jigs 36a and 36b. The movement distance of the table 35 is measured by a movement distance reader 40 such as a magnetic linear encoder. Differential transformer type measuring elements 18a and 18b are fitted strongly stop of the arm part 43 of a column fixed on the surface plate 33. The angle of rotation, movement distance, and the measured values of the measuring elements are inputted to a computer to calculate a shape error.
