Abstract:
To obtain the method and device for mechanically and thermally dehydrating sludge, especially the method and device for preliminarily dehydrating the industrially generated sludge or sewage sludge, and then drying it.
The preliminarily dehydrated sludge is granulated as such without any intermediate treatment and then immediately dried by this method. The dehydrator for applying this method is provided with a mechanical dehydration unit 2, the unit 2 is directly connected to a feeder unit 5 for granulating the preliminarily dehydrated sludge, and the feeder unit 5 is permanently fixed to a drier 6.
