Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method, in which the waste fluid after collapsing/ removing treatment is repeatedly reused as treatment fluid and the waste fluid is not thickened to lose flowability due to temp. drop after treatment, in the case that a molding flask is collapsed/removed from casting by using the water solution of alkali metal hydroxide for treatment fluid.

CONSTITUTION: In the method, in which a water solution of alkali metal hydroxide is used as treatment fluid and the molding flask containing silica is heated under pressurizing in treatment fluid and is collapsed/removed from casting, the waste fluid during collapsing/removing or after collapsed/removed is drawn from a treatment device, the collapsed molding flask in waste fluid is separated, The waste fluid, in which a mol ratio of SiO2 to alkaline materials of alkali metal hydroxide and alkali oxide, etc., is ≤2, is used as treatment fluid.
