Title:
METHOD FOR MONITORING POISONOUS SUBSTANCE IN WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3933239
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for monitoring poisonous substances in water whereby a death of an aquatic live that can swim is detected early and mixture of poisonous substances to the water can be continuously monitored.
SOLUTION: According to the method, a potential generated in a water bath 1 storing an aquatic live that can swim is detected by sensor electrodes 2, 3. The potential is integrated for every time unit for (c) minutes (0.5≤c≤30), which is set as an activity amount to be used to monitor poisonous substances in the water. The activity amount is logarithmically converted, and then an average value (μ) and a standard deviation (σ) are obtained. If the logarithmically converted activity amount becomes larger than a management upper limit μ+aσ (3≤a≤6) or smaller than a management lower limit μ-aσ (3≤a≤6), it is decided that poisonous substances are mixed in the water.
