To improve design property by eliminating blazing work, and omitting finishing by forming a recess on the outer surface of a base material, and press forcing an ornament into the recess.

The recess 8 of a base material 2 is a circular blank hole 9 formed by pressing. The base material 2, including the appearance thereof, may be made by casting, and the recess 8 needs not be made by press working. The inside diameter of the blank hole 9 is set d, and the dimensional relationship to the diameter D of the straight portion as the exterior of the base material of an ornament 3 is set as follows: d=D-(0 to 0.08 mm). The expression indicates that the press forcing allowance is 0-0.08 mm. The recess 8 needs not be a through hole and may be a groove. Thus an ornament can be mounted on a base material easily and subsequent processes associated with conventional blazing are not needed, and a higher quality accessory not causing sagging in the edge of a cut face can be obtained.
