PURPOSE: To provide a method for recovering a ≥2C hydrocarbon including ethylene in high yield by a simple device with small energy consumption, by subjecting a methane-containing raw material gas to oxidation coupling.
CONSTITUTION: A mobile catalyst bed 13 comprising a rising current of air containing a catalyst 5 is formed in a coupling reactor 10, which is charged with a coupling raw material gas 1 and an oxygen-containing gas 2. Methane is reacted with oxygen to form a coupling formed gas 3 and the catalyst 5 is separated by a gas-solid separator 20. The catalyst is introduced into a cracking reactor 30, brought into contact with a cracking raw material gas 8 to convert a saturated hydrocarbon to an unsaturated hydrocarbon. The catalyst 5 is recycled to a coupling reactor 10 by a catalyst circulating means 50. A residual gas obtained by recovering ≥2C hydrocarbons from a mixed formed gas 7 of the coupling formed gas 3 and the cracking formed gas 6 is partially decarboxylated and methanated or methanated and carboxylated and circulated to the coupling reactor 10.
