To provide an industrially applicable method for synthesizing a 2-(3-pyrazolyloxymethylene)nitrobenzene derivative.
The 2-(3-pyrazolyloxymethylene)nitrobenzene derivative is represented by formula I [wherein, R1 is a halogen atom, or a (substituted) alkyl or alkoxy; R2 is a cyano, a halogen atom, an alkyl, a haloalkyl, an alkoxy, an alkylthio or an alkoxycarbonyl group; R3 is an (substituted) alkyl, an alkenyl or an alkynyl, an (substituted) carbocyclic group or hetrocyclic group, being saturated or unsaturated at one or two position(s), or a (substituted) aryl or heteroaryl group; m is 0, 1 or 2, when m is 1, R2 groups may differ from each other, and when n is 0-3 or 4 and 1, R1 groups may differ from each other]. The 2-(3-pyrazolyloxymethylene)nitrobenzene derivative is produced by conducting a reaction between the corresponding brominated o-nitrobenzyl derivative and a 3-hydroxypyrazole derivative.
