Abstract:
To provide a method for producing acrylic acid including an acrylic acid extraction process, which is to extract acrylic acid from acrylic acid solution with an extraction device, in which acrylic acid can be extracted in a stable and economical manner with a small amount of solvent.SOLUTION: A method for producing acrylic acid includes an extraction process of feeding acrylic acid solution with a concentration of acrylic acid of 60 wt.% or more and extraction liquid to a mixing part of a static extraction device, which includes the mixing part and a separation part to make a liquid mixture; separating the liquid mixture with the separation part into an aqueous phase and a solvent phase including crude acrylic acid; and continuously recovering the solvent phase including crude acrylic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
