Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an aromatic iodine compound having improved regioselectivity in the iodination reaction of an aromatic compound.
The method for producing an aromatic iodine compound comprises a process for reacting an iodinating agent with an aromatic compound having one or more substituent groups and two or more hydrogen atoms in the nucleus in the presence of a specific ether compound.
