To provide a method for producing card cylinder members for use in a card lock, which increases productivity and reduces production costs.

According to the method for producing the card cylinder members for use in the card lock, metal powder which is prepared so as to have desired chemical composition, and a binder are kneaded to produce a composite, and the composite is then granulated to impart fluidity to the same. Then, the fluidable composite is injected into dies having shapes of the card cylinder members (a card cylinder front portion 11 and a card cylinder rear portion 12) for the card lock, to thereby mold molded products. Thereafter, the binder is removed from each molded product by degreasing, and then the degreased molded product is sintered, to thereby produce the card cylinder members (the card cylinder front portion 11 and the card cylinder rear portion 12) for use in the card lock as sintered bodies.
