Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a catalyst for exhaust purification that is effective in purifying exhaust, particularly NOx-containing exhaust.SOLUTION: The production method according to the present invention is a method for producing a catalyst for exhaust purification that has a base material and a catalyst layer formed on the surface of the base material. In the method, the base material is impregnated with a solution containing alkali metal ions and/or alkaline earth metal ions and then dried and/or burnt.
