Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a composite material and a method for producing carbon fibers in a form of a nonwoven fabric, capable of sufficiently dispersing carbon fibers in a dispersion and capable of enlarging the area of a carbon fiber layer, and to provide methods for using the composite material and the carbon fibers in a form of a nonwoven fabric produced thereby.SOLUTION: A method includes, after diffusing carbon fibers into a solution containing an alkali agent, filtrating the obtained solution to take out the carbon fibers and then dispersing the carbon fibers in a solvent, and then coating the obtained dispersion on a substrate to form a carbon fiber layer in a form of a nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
