Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a granule of lithium phosphate which provides a compact of lithium phosphate easily by using a conventional compacting machine without addition of an organic binder for improvement of moldability.SOLUTION: A method of producing a granule of lithium phosphate includes a mixing step of mixing a powder of lithium phosphate of a specific surface area of 1-30 m/g, a crystallite diameter of 10-50 nm and an average particle diameter of 0.1-10 μm with particulate silica of a primary particle diameter of 3-30 nm to obtain a kneaded product of lithium phosphate and a granule preparation step of drying, crushing and particle-size-regulating the kneaded product of lithium phosphate to obtain a granule of lithium phosphate of a content of particulate silica of 10-40 mass%, on a dry base.
