Abstract:
To provide a method for easily producing a large amount of hydrogen at a low cost.
The hydrogen-production method comprises a step to charge a hydrogen-generation raw material containing water and a vegetable composed mainly of starch into a vessel and a step to generate hydrogen by holding the hydrogen-generation raw material in the vessel. A large amount of hydrogen can be produced by the hydrolysis of starch in the vegetable in addition to the fermentation of the vegetable with microorganisms attached to the vegetable and existing in the water.
