Abstract:
To provide a production method of an isocyanate group-containing alkoxysilane, with which the isocyanate group-containing alkoxysilane with high purity can be efficiently obtained.SOLUTION: An amino group-containing alkoxysilane and a dialkyl carbonate are made to react with each other and a mixture including a carbamate and an alcohol is obtained. Next, the mixture is heated so as to obtain an isocyanate group-containing alkoxysilane. At this time, a first fraction containing the alcohol, a second fraction containing the isocyanate group-containing alkoxysilane, and a third fraction containing a cyclic by-product are obtained, and by mixing the third fraction with the mixture before heating, the cyclic by-product is made to react with the alcohol so as to return the cyclic by-product to the carbamate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
