Abstract:
To produce a color-less, transparent and high-quality L-aspartic acid metal salt having no contamination with a precipitate by reacting an ammonium salt of the L-aspartic acid with a metal hydroxide.
The method for producing the L-aspartic acid metal salt involves reacting the ammonium L-aspartic with the metal hydroxide in an aqueous medium. The metal hydroxide within the range of 0.8-2.2 mol based on 1 mol of the ammonium L-aspartic is used in the reaction.
