Abstract:
To provide a method that can produce modified amorphous polypropylene with high efficiency in grafting and suppressed changes in molecular weight, without causing handling trouble even when graft-polymerizing amorphous polypropylene in a melt kneader.SOLUTION: A method for producing modified amorphous polypropylene includes melting and kneading following ingredients at 130-180°C: amorphous polypropylene, an ethylenic unsaturated monomer with a carboxyl group or an acid anhydride group, an organic peroxide, an electron-donating polyfunctional ethylenic unsaturated monomer, and an electron-donating chain transfer agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
