Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of modified rubber, which suppresses a crosslinking reaction and does not damage a safety and hygiene environment in the manufacturing process, while maintaining a high introduction rate of modifying groups into diene-based rubber.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing modified rubber, in which at least one kind of modifier selected from maleic acid monoesters, maleic acid diesters, maleic acid monoamides and maleic acid diamides is reacted, together with a radical initiator, with diene-based rubber. A rubber composition comprises a rubber component containing 10 mass % or more of the modified rubber, silica and/or carbon black are contained, a content of the silica and/or carbon black is 10 to 130 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component, a main chain of the modified rubber is diene-based rubber, the modified rubber has at least one kind of modifying group selected from a specific group, a content of the modified group in the modified rubber is 0.1 to 5 mol% relative to double bonds that the modified rubber has as the main chain.SELECTED DRAWING: None
